SACRAMENTO, Calif.—Nissan and LiCAP Technologies are teaming up to bring a fresh approach to electric vehicle batteries. Their new partnership focuses on using LiCAP’s innovative dry electrode method, a cleaner manufacturing process that avoids harsh chemicals and volatile compounds found in traditional batteries.
This move supports Nissan’s broader sustainability efforts by making batteries more efficient and eco-friendly.
“Partnering with Nissan lets us push battery innovation further and faster,” said LiCAP CEO Dr. Linda Zhong. “Together, we’re creating technology that benefits drivers and the environment.”
