INDIANAPOLIS – As wildfire smoke sweeps across North America, Carrier is rolling out a program to help households and businesses breathe easier. The company is advising property owners to take simple, effective steps: install better filters, seal gaps, and use portable air purifiers to keep smoke outside.
“Wildfire smoke can make indoor spaces unhealthy too,” said Nick Arch, Carrier’s Vice President of Residential Solutions. “We’ve designed technology to keep families safe when outdoor air turns dangerous.”
To support those most affected, Carrier has donated $2.5 million worth of purifiers to schools and frontline workers in Los Angeles.
